What goes into your costs and fees

Why understand your costs

The price on the storefront is not your income. Between it and your real profit sits a chain of costs and fees — some you pay yourself, others Uzum withholds. Unit economics in MyProfit gathers all of them for each SKU («Артикул») so you can see how much you actually earn on a single unit. The MyProfit interface is in Russian, so on-screen labels are shown here in quotes.

What goes into the calculation

  • Cost of goods («Себестоимость») — what you paid your supplier per unit. You usually enter this yourself; and if no value is entered, MyProfit fills the cost in from your receipts or invoices, with a label beside it showing the source (see enter purchase cost).
  • Fulfillment fee (FF) — your own cost of picking, packing, and preparing the item for shipment. This is not an Uzum fee — it’s your internal cost, and you set it yourself.
  • VAT («НДС») — your tax rate (usually 0% or 12% depending on the category). MyProfit accepts any value; the default for a new item is 4%.
  • Commission — taken from the product’s Uzum category: each category has its own rate.

Logistics fee and volume

The Uzum logistics fee depends on the package volume. MyProfit computes the volume from the dimensions you enter (in centimeters) and applies the fee automatically:

  • Volume (L) = length × width × height (in cm) ÷ 1000, rounded up to a whole liter.
  • Fee — 5 250 UZS for the first liter (up to 1 L inclusive) and 250 UZS for each additional liter, capped at 50 000 UZS.
  • No dimensions (shown as «нет ВГХ») → the maximum fee of 50 000 UZS. MyProfit highlights such items — fill in the dimensions to see the real fee.
  • SIM cards — a fixed fee of 20 000 UZS.

Example: a 50 × 38 × 30 cm package → 57 L → 5 250 + 250 × 56 = 19 250 UZS.

Just enter the dimensions in centimeters — MyProfit computes the volume and the fee for you.

What’s auto-filled and what you enter

MyProfit fills in everything it can get from Uzum: the commission by category, the VAT rate, and — once you enter the dimensions — the volume and the logistics fee. You enter what only you know: the purchase cost, the fulfillment fee, and the item’s dimensions (in centimeters).

Cost of goods is a special case: MyProfit can fill it in for you. On the «Ценообразование» (Pricing) tab, in the «Себестоимость» column, your manual value always takes priority; if there is none, MyProfit takes the figure from your receipts (FIFO), the latest invoice, or — as a last resort — from Uzum data. A label beside the field shows where the current cost comes from, so you can see which SKUs are worth entering your own value for.

Fields you change by hand are flagged as manual. A later sync with Uzum will not overwrite them — your values are kept.
