Sharing access to a shop

Access is tied to the shop, not to an owner

In MyProfit, who sees the data is decided not by who “owns” the account but by which shop the Uzum API key covers. If two people — say an owner and an accountant — each hold their own API key that covers the same shop, both see identical data for that shop. The MyProfit interface is in Russian, so on-screen labels are shown here in quotes.

This makes collaboration work without any special setup: you both simply connected the same Uzum shop.

Each person connects their own key

There is no shared login into one account — each person connects their own Uzum API key. How to get and connect one — connect your Uzum shop.

  • The colleague creates their own MyProfit account and connects their own key.
  • If the key covers the same shop, the data matches — it is the same Uzum shop, simply seen from two accounts.

What does not exist yet

So there are no false expectations, it is worth saying plainly:

  • MyProfit has no roles-and-permissions editor inside the app — you do not assign a colleague a “role” or an “access level” here.
  • Employee roles are managed on Uzum’s side, not in MyProfit. What an employee can reach in the Uzum cabinet decides what their key will cover.
  • You cannot currently invite someone who has no Uzum account into a shop — access always goes through a Uzum API key. The ability to invite a colleague without their own key is planned, but it is not available yet.
