Access is tied to the shop, not to an owner
In MyProfit, who sees the data is decided not by who “owns” the account but by which shop a person has access to on Uzum. If two people both have access to the same shop, both see identical data for it. This happens in two ways, and they work differently. The MyProfit interface is in Russian, so on-screen labels are shown here in quotes.
Co-owners: each connects their own key
If a person owns a shop on Uzum, they create their own API key that covers that shop and connect it in MyProfit. How to get and connect one — connect your Uzum shop.
- The colleague creates their own MyProfit account and connects their own key.
- If the key covers the same shop, the data matches — it is the same Uzum shop, simply seen from two accounts.
Employees: access is granted automatically
An employee whom the owner added to a shop on Uzum but who does not own the shop cannot include it in their own API key — in the Uzum cabinet a key can only cover shops you own. So MyProfit grants such employees access on its own:
- Sign up for MyProfit with the same email as your Uzum account — that is how MyProfit recognizes you.
- MyProfit checks Uzum’s employee list and opens the shops where you are listed as an employee. Their data syncs through the owner’s key.
- If you own no shops of your own, you can register with a key that covers no shops: it is needed to confirm your Uzum account, and access is opened from the employee list.
- Access updates automatically — at registration and then periodically. If you are added to or removed from a shop on Uzum, that is reflected in MyProfit.
The same access, but everyone’s costs are their own
One exception to “the same data”: the costs you enter in the «Финансы» section — rent, salaries, taxes — are visible only to the person who entered them. An owner and an employee with access to the same shops will see different «Чистая прибыль» on that page, and that is not a fault.
It works this way so that payroll does not open up to everyone who has access to a shop. More on this in profit: what the business actually earned.
What does not exist yet
So there are no false expectations, it is worth saying plainly:
- MyProfit has no roles-and-permissions editor inside the app — you do not assign a colleague a “role” or an “access level” here. Employee roles are managed on Uzum’s side.
- You cannot yet invite someone who has no Uzum account at all into a shop — access goes either through their own key or through Uzum’s employee list. The ability to invite such a colleague is planned, but it is not available yet.
